About the Role
Wiltech Acoustics — now proudly part of Rehlko (formerly Kohler Energy) — is entering an exciting phase of growth and investment. Now integrated into Rehlko’s global energy-resilience group, Wiltech continues to build on its reputation as a leading UK specialist in acoustic canopies, generator enclosures, and industrial noise-control engineering. Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Joining Wiltech now means becoming part of a strengthened, well-funded and expanding organisation, with new opportunities created through the Rehlko transition.
This is a key leadership position focused on driving a culture of excellence, streamlining our processes, and ensuring our performance standards remain world-class. As the site’s Lean champion, you will oversee our CI strategy and lead the charge in hitting our performance standards across every area of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that "continuous improvement" isn’t just a phrase, but a daily reality for all our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- KPI Ownership & Improvement: You will be responsible for driving the improvement of site-wide KPIs. By identifying trends and performance gaps, you’ll implement targeted CI actions to ensure we consistently meet or exceed our targets.
- Establishing the CI Roadmap: You will set the Wiltech CI Policy, ensuring it is fully aligned with the wider Rehlko group standards.
- Driving a Lean Culture: You’ll train and mentor teams across the business to ensure Lean thinking is at the heart of our daily operations.
- Strategic Planning (X-Matrix): You’ll support site leaders in building and following annual SPQDC (Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost) objectives and action plans.
- Root Cause Analysis: You will be the "go-to" for identifying wastes and inefficiencies, leading the charge on RCA to fix issues permanently.
- Leading CI Events: You’ll plan and run Kaizen events and "CI Days," bringing people together to solve complex problems and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Full Business Integration: You will act as the vital link between all departments—including Sales, Design, Production, and Logistics—ensuring a unified approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Performance Reporting: In collaboration with site leadership, you’ll build and maintain the SPQDC site reports to keep our progress visible and transparent.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience within Continuous Improvement or Lean Management, with a proven track record of improving business KPIs.
- Leadership: A proactive leader who can inspire change across different departments and levels of the business.
- Vision: Someone who can translate high-level SPQDC goals into practical, daily wins both on the shop floor and in the office.
- Collaborative Mindset: You must be comfortable working with every team in the building to ensure we are all pulling in the same direction.
