- Strategic oversight and management of all commissioning activities across multiple projects.
- Oversees multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring processes, quality, and timelines are met across the business.
- Responsible for coordinating commissioning activities on-site and directly supervising engineers/technicians.
- Regularly involved in hands-on commissioning, while still coordinating and leading the site team.
- Creating and overseeing commissioning schedules across multiple jobs, ensuring resources and milestones are aligned.
- Provides high-level commissioning reports and metrics for the business and clients.
- Deal with on-the-ground technical and operational issues during commissioning.
- Resolving escalated issues that impact delivery across multiple projects.
- Proven experience in commissioning management within mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally with generator systems.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Electrically qualified & registered, with City & Guilds 18th Edition (or equivalent).
- Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and schedules.
- Able to work under pressure and find practical solutions to challenges.
- Willing to travel nationwide and work away from home when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
