WB Employment (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for Production Operative Metal Shop Assistant to work for our client based in Exeter on a temporary to permanent basis.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:15, Friday 07:30 – 13:30

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Duties will include:

  • Rivet line work – assembling fireboxes using a rivet gun.
  • Paint line loading – lifting products to and from the paint line.
  • Shot blasting – lifting product to and from an automated shot blaster.

These stations are all trainable in-house but do require sustained lifting; ideally, you will be reasonably strong and willing to complete physical duties.

  • Flexibility to carry out a wide-ranging role and be willing to train across various skilled operations.
  • Able to follow process controls and accurately complete paperwork to support this.
  • Heavy product needs to be handled.
  • Proactive.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
