Location: Exeter

WB Employment (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Sweeper with C1 licence classification to work for our client based in Exeter.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday 05:00-13:00, Saturday 05:00-12:00

Pay rate: £13.45 per hour

The main purpose of the role is to undertake cleansing services to keep the city looking good. The role includes:

  • Securely fastening vehicle attachments such as brush hogs and hydraulic hoses
  • Maintaining street sweeper vehicles and equipment by performing standard checks
  • Reporting any incidents or mechanical failures to management
  • Any other duties requested by Manager/Supervisor

The Candidate

  • Reliable and energetic, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate the machinery
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Work well in a team environment but also using your own initiative
  • Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
  • Potential for Full Time position
