Wayward Management is an inclusive children’s modelling agency representing children from 0-18yrs, as well as families. We pride ourselves on representing unparalleled talent, of all abilities, and from all backgrounds. We take the time to get to know our models personally, so that we can best match them with brands and clients, and build on their skills and confidence during their time with Wayward.
We have reached a really exciting milestone in our second year of business, where we will be expanding our representation and client base into Europe. We are looking for a new member to join our currently small, two person team, who can assist in a full time capacity to help with increasing workload. This role has so much room for growth and development, as the agency grows. It’s a really exciting time!
Role Overview
- Permanent, Full time, Remote
- 35hrs per week
- 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday
- Fully Remote, however 2 weeks in person will be required during training period.
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas Closure. Wayward closes annually between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. This closure is additional leave and does not reduce annual holiday entitlement.
You’ll support the day-to-day running of Wayward’s UK division, working closely with a small team of 2 others to manage model portfolios, client bookings, and communications. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the agency’s high standards, ensuring models, parents, and clients receive a professional, efficient, and personal experience. You’ll take an interest in the clients model preferences, and actively promote our existing talent and new faces to suitable brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Management
- Sharing new faces and promoting existing talent to suitable brands
- Occasionally updating model portfolios (images, measurements, stats). We do already have a Portfolio Manager who manages the bulk of this, but it will be important to help with workload when necessary.
- Bookings & Casting
- Submitting model packages, managing virtual casting material, and submitting for castings on Spotlight
- Managing bookings and availabilities
- Liaising with clients on briefs
- Submitting Child Performance Licenses to local councils
- Managing overseas license paperwork
- Communication
- Daily communication with parents and clients
- Maintaining Wayward’s professional but personal tone
- Operations
- Supporting with in house shoot organisation (Portfolio update days and monthly, themed Wayward shoots). We shoot creatively once a month with a small group of models to build on on-set experience, confidence and skills. These usually take place on a weekend. The founder will attend most of these days, but occasionally it may be necessary to attend. Any weekend dates will be paid as overtime.

Salary £26,000 with opportunities for growth and development alongside the agency. 35 hour week. Office hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. The agency is closed over the Christmas period. Occasionally a weekend day will be requested to assist with our monthly shoot days or updates days. Any weekend days will be paid in overtime. There will be a 6 month probation period. Wayward is a growing independent agency, and this role will evolve alongside the business.
