Our team is the first in the world to use autonomous vehicles on public roads using end-to-end deep learning. With our multi-national world-class technical team, we’re building things differently. We don’t think it’s scalable to tell an algorithm how to drive through hand-coded rules and expensive HD maps. Instead, we believe that using experience and data will allow our algorithms to be more intelligent: capable of easily adapting to new environments. Our aim is to be the future of self-driving cars: the first to deploy in 100 cities across the world bringing autonomy to everyone, everywhere.

The impact you will have

  • Support future commercial strategy build out, accounting for market and partner realities + risks.
  • Fact-based, in-depth research and analysis of AV/ADAS/AI ecosystem to support Wayve’s commercial strategy, to help Wayve consider impacts of this dynamic competitive landscape.
  • Ability to think outside the box in evaluation of ambiguous, open-ended questions and quickly develop and iterate with various stakeholders to drive towards solutions.
  • Develop internal tools to help the business make informed decisions about a variety of complex technical and commercial decisions.

About you

  • Strong analytical capabilities: confident modelling in excel and distilling complex concepts into clear concise messages to support the organization’s decision making in both spreadsheet and slide formats.
  • Problem solving: will look at solving undefined AV technology, product and business model needs in a structured approach with rigour and hypothesis.
  • Communication: Can distill mountains of information and analyses into a clean, clear message that enables leadership to make informed decisions, faster.
  • Humble & Resilient: views setbacks or incorrect hypothesis as learnings experiences vs failures.
  • Big-picture minded: understands the (long-term) end goal, and keeps it in mind as a north star in the midst of (near-term) operational execution.
  • Collaborative: Ability to work across various internal and external cross functional teams and knows when to bring in the right people to help “unstick” blockers.

This is our ideal candidate, but by no means the only candidate; we all have different strengths. If you don’t match 100% but believe you could do the job well, we would love to hear from you.
