The role
The People Experience team lead the big cross functional initiatives that take our People & Talent Strategy closer to our People mission to ‘Make Wayve the experience that defines your career ’. We’re in tune with our stakeholders and partner closely with them to inform our thinking and to deliver on the projects that impact them. We focus on areas like Culture, Engagement, Performance, DEIB, and Ways of Working across all of Wayve to name a few! You’ll have a direct hand in creating experiences that will have lasting impact on our people across the globe, from design right through to implementation.
Key responsibilities:
- Engagement : design and launch of our annual engagement and pulse surveys as part of the broader listening strategy, working closely with our People Partnering team.
- Performance : set up and run our annual performance cycle working closely with People Partners and People Operations to execute on including training and communications.
- Tool expert: Become an expert of our performance and engagement platform working closely with other superusers to design solutions in line with our strategy.
- Project Lead of your own projects as well as supporting the PEX Lead on larger scale projects in line with our strategic roadmap. This could be things like refreshing our career frameworks, developing a wellbeing strategy, enhancing our recognition approach etc.
- DEIB : Support in driving our DEIB strategy such as, rolling out training, creating manager materials, etc.
- Stakeholder engagement: proactively cultivate strong relationships between People and Talent team members, Internal Communications and other key stakeholders in the business to order to understand business needs, interdependencies and being able execute on projects through those relationships,
- Data analysis and insights: monitor and analyse trends in our internal data (e.g. recognition, DEIB, engagement etc) as well as researching external market trends, using this to inform our work
- Strategic Roadmap: Support the People & Talent Leadership Team in pulling together and maintaining the annual strategic roadmap of critical projects. This involves regular check-ins with project owners to track updates, identify risks and issues, and pinpoint interdependencies.
About you
In order to set you up for success as a People Experience Partner at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
The ideal candidate is an Ex People Partner, HR Project Manager, or has experience working in a Centre of Excellence (e.g. Talent Development, DEIB etc) with strong generalist HR knowledge and a project delivery mindset. We’re also open to hearing from Product or Project Managers who have had experience of culture change initiatives and have a good understanding of people processes.
- Knowledge of key areas of the employee lifecycle and how they interact with each other
- Experience in creating and/or implementing a variety of projects/processes such as career frameworks, job titling, DEIB initiatives, Performance and/or culture change projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
- Knowledge of communications planning as part of change management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor the approach to the stakeholder’s needs.
- Proficiency in use of People Tooling e.g. performance and engagement tools
- Use of data analysis and insights to inform thinking
- Proactive and inquisitive, always looking for ways to improve and iterate processes.
- Strong creative problem solving ability.
- Experience in more than one HR discipline
- Blend of working in a start up/scale up environment and more established organisations in multiple geographies
- Knowledge of Lattice is a nice to have, but not essential
- Understanding of working with an Internal Communications team
This is a full-time role based in our office in London. At Wayve we want the best of all worlds so we operate a hybrid working policy that combines time together in our offices and workshops to fuel innovation, culture, relationships and learning, and time spent working from home. We operate core working hours so you can determine the schedule that works best for you and your team.
