Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England. Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.

About Volunteering
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our work and help us make a positive difference to the lives of others. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, gain valuable experience, and be part of a friendly and supportive team. No prior experience is required as full training and ongoing support will be provided. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and value the skills, ideas, and enthusiasm you can bring.
Depending on the role and service area, duties may include:
- Supporting staff and service users with day-to-day activities
- Providing a friendly, welcoming presence and offering basic support or guidance
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, or answering queries

- Following charity policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines
