About the Role: We are currently recruiting a Peer Support Worker to join our team at Stay Well in Crawley. As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering both intensive and low-level peer support, helping people navigate challenging periods in their lives. By sharing your own lived experience, you will support individuals to identify their strengths, develop coping skills, and work towards improved wellbeing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-to-one and group peer support
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, mental health nurses, and people using the service
  • Help develop and shape an inclusive, effective peer support service
  • Contribute to policies, procedures, and guidance that underpin peer support delivery
  • Promote the service to stakeholders and support training initiatives
  • Work within agreed budgets and ensure services operate in line with compliance requirements

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • Lived experience of mental health difficulties and recovery
  • A good understanding of recovery, personalisation, and how mental health services operate
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage your own wellbeing
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
