Service Manager – Housing Recovery

We are looking for a Manchester-based Service Manager to lead a recovery focused, 28‑bed supported accommodation project and outreach service in Greater Manchester.
About the Role
Manage a supported accommodation project and outreach service, playing a pivotal role in eliminating housing problems associated with alcohol and drug use. Work as part of a wider team to deliver support packages that help clients live independently and progress towards sustained housing recovery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the 28‑bed supported accommodation project.
- Develop and implement outreach support services.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, housing authorities and community partners.
- Ensure high standards of care, compliance with legislation and policies, and continuous improvement.
- Track and report on outcomes, budgets and performance metrics.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need
- Previous managerial experience in a social housing or related environment.
- Strong leadership, team management and motivational skills.
- Excellent partnership working and collaboration abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of housing challenges related to alcohol and drug use.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
