About the Role:
We are seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join our team at Waythrough. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our determination to ensure we provide safe systems of work and safe working environments across our varied and diverse services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing health & safety advice and guidance to a wide range of services that improve people's lives
- Undertaking a range of Health & Safety functions across our services such as Health & Safety audits, DSE advice and assessments and workplace inspections.
- Monitoring compliance against health & safety standards
- Investigating accidents and near misses
- Producing risk assessments for a wide range of subjects and activities
- Providing advice on good practice on DSE issues and setup
- Supporting good practice in Fire Safety and monitoring compliance with fire safety standards
- Contributing to creating a positive health & safety culture across the organisation.
- Working closely with other Waythrough colleagues and managers to improve Health & Safety Performance
About You
This role works within a Health and Safety function and would suit an individual who relates to any of the following:
