As the Housing Manager, you will lead a team delivering high-quality housing management and tenancy sustainment services across your region. You'll provide day-to-day support, guidance, and oversight to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and well-managed, while helping residents maintain their tenancies.
You’ll play a key role in driving performance, meeting KPIs and Tenant Satisfaction Measures, and working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve services.
Key Duties
- Lead and support a team delivering housing and tenancy services
- Manage property performance, including voids, arrears, and compliance
- Provide guidance on safeguarding, risk, and anti-social behaviour
- Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure accurate reporting
- Support audits, inspections, and service improvements
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Promote resident engagement and involvement
About You
You’ll be an experienced housing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering quality services.
You will have:
- Experience in housing management, ideally with vulnerable or complex needs
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, arrears, and housing processes
- The ability to manage priorities and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
A relevant housing or management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
