In this role, you'll help promote our alcohol and drug support service through engaging digital communications and marketing activity. You will also be part of the team creating city-wide public health campaigns around alcohol and drugs.

As Digital Communications Officer, you will:

  • Create and edit digital content, including videos that share the experiences of people accessing our services.
  • Develop your own social media and digital marketing campaigns to raise awareness of drug and alcohol-related issues and the support available.
  • Work with communications colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate campaigns and share key messages.
  • Attend community events to promote the service and engage with local audiences.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A qualification in Media, Communications or a related subject (equivalent to NVQ Level 4), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong content creation skills.
  • Experience creating and editing video and image content.
  • Excellent organisational, written and presentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in digital communications, marketing or social media.
