About the role:
New Vision Bradford is a partnership between Waythrough, the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Creative Strength. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford District. We provide a safe environment for people to develop life skills and confidence, ultimately enabling them to rebuild their lives and become active, contributing members of the Bradford community.
We are looking to appoint Sessional Recovery Coordinators on a fixed term basis, under the New Vision Bradford umbrella to work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of the individuals’ recovery journey, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
What You’ll Do
- Manage an adult caseload of a variety of substance use issues, opiate/non opiate and alcohol
- Devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
- Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
- Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
- Experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs.
- A driving licence and having access to a vehicle would be desirable but not essential.
