About the Role: As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with service and operational managers, providing expert financial insight, reporting, and analysis. You'll prepare accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts â helping leaders understand performance, identify risks, and drive improvement. This is a varied and handsâon role, ideal for someone who enjoys blending financial expertise with partnership and problemâsolving across a complex, purposeâled organisation.
What You'll Do:
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, analysing variances and supporting budget holders
- Deliver clear financial reports and commentary that support effective decisionâmaking
- Lead on budget setting and reforecasting, providing challenge and guidance to ensure robust financial plans
- Build trusted relationships with operational teams, providing financial training and advice
- Support regional analysis, funding applications, and tenders
- Contribute to audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Review financial processes to strengthen controls and reduce administrative burden
To Succeed in This Role, You'll Need:
- A qualification to AAT level or above, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, numerical, and timeâmanagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate finance for nonâfinance colleagues
- Experience producing management accounts and financial commentary
- Confidence working with financial systems, budgets, and project or tender costing
