We are currently looking to build our Recovery Co-ordination team, with an exciting and newly created opportunity at Forward Leeds. Our team provides support for individuals who are experiencing problematic substance use. As an Apprentice Recovery Coordinator, your duties will include:
You will be supported to build the skills and knowledge to be able to provide specialist, tailored support to enable service users to make positive changes.
You will work towards managing a caseload by creating, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
You will contribute towards reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
You will work towards completing Level 2 apprenticeship in Adult Care with a local training provider. This will include achieving Level 1 in functional skills (Maths & English) if you haven’t already.
About you…
You will have a passion for making a difference and fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do. You will be empathic and understanding in nature.
As the role requires you to engage with study you must be willing to undertake a Level 2 apprenticeship in Adult Care with a local training provider. This will include achieving Level 1 in functional skills (Maths & English) if you haven’t already.
A basic understanding of IT would be useful too as you will be using a laptop to help you carry out your job.
