The Graduate Product Analyst role is an entry‑level position designed for recent graduates seeking to build a career in Product Management within a global financial services environment. The role supports the Product Leadership team by assisting with product performance analysis, management business reviews, and governance reporting. The Graduate Product Analyst will work closely with experienced product professionals and gain exposure to how products are evaluated, prioritised, and managed at enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities- Support analysis of product performance, usage, and key business metrics.
- Assist in maintaining product trackers, datasets, and documentation.
- Develop familiarity with Waystone’s product offerings, clients, and operating model.
- Support the preparation of management business review packs, product updates, and performance summaries.
- Prepare and maintain presentations used in leadership, product, and governance meetings.
- Ensure review materials are accurate, well structured, and aligned with the target audience.
- Work alongside Product Managers and other internal teams (e.g. Operations, Finance, Business Development).
- Support inputs into product planning, review cycles, and prioritisation discussions.
- Assist with coordination and follow up on cross‑functional product initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve product processes, reporting, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or equivalent) in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, Data, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including: working with structured datasets; Pivot tables, lookups, and basic analytical formulas.
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Exposure to reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI).
- Exposure to basic coding or scripting, such as Python, for analysis or automation a plus.
- Experience using AI tools in an academic or business context.
- Analytical and detail oriented.
- Well organised with good time management skills.
- Comfortable working with data and explaining findings clearly.
