Regulatory and Professional Requirements
- Vetting by Disclosure Scotland: If you work in regulated work (children and/or protected adults) you will be subject to obtaining a satisfactory PVG.
- GTCS: You will be required to be registered with the GTCS. You are required to obtain and maintain registration including paying any fees. In probationary year, applications for temporary, un-promoted vacancies are welcome but pays at probationer rate (Main Grade Scale Point 0) (£31,584 per year pro-rata).
- Education/Church Approval: If applicable, the successful candidate may require approval by the Roman Catholic Church in line with legislation. Forms from the Scottish Catholic Education Service may be required.
