Salary: Main Grade Teacher £40,305 - £50,589
Location: Inverclyde Academy, Cumberland Road, Greenock
Hours: 21 Hours Per Week
Duration: Temp Until 02/04/2026

Vetting and Registration

  • Vetting by Disclosure Scotland: If you work in regulated work (children and/or protected adults) you will be subject to obtaining a satisfactory PVG.
  • GTCS: You will be required to be registered with the GTCS and maintain registration, including paying any fees. Temporary vacancies may be available for probationary teachers at the probationer rate (Main Grade Scale Point 0) at £31,584 per year (pro-rata).
  • RC Approval: Guidance for teachers seeking approval to teach in a Catholic school if applicable.
  • Education: If applicable, the successful candidate will require to be approved by the Roman Catholic Church, in line with Section 21 (A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980. Forms from the Scottish Catholic Education Service are available.

Candidates successful at interview need to download and print the appropriate Report, complete the applicant details, and have their current Head Teacher sign the assessment sections before sending to Human Resources by email.
