Inverclyde Council's legal team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented solicitor to join its commercial/conveyancing team. The workload is varied, interesting and challenging and you will be dealing with a wide range of property, planning, roads and contract matters.

Responsibilities:

  • The solicitor will work in the commercial/conveyancing team and handle a varied workload including property, planning, roads and contract matters.
  • The role requires professional legal advice and drafting for the council and representing the council where required.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be qualified solicitors enrolled in Scotland and must hold a current practising certificate.
  • Experience of working in the public sector is desirable, but not essential.
