ActiveDrip is a Japanese-rooted recovery skincare & wellness brand based in London, with production and manufacturing in Spain & Japan. We are bringing science-backed, barrier-first formulations to Western consumers. Founded by a former Tokyo resident of 12+ years with deep roots in Japanese beauty science, we are at an exciting inflection point with SEIS/EIS fundraising underway, first export orders completed, and active expansion into the US, EU & India. We are a lean, ambitious founding team and this role sits right at the centre of it.

This is not a coffee-and-admin internship. You will be the founder's commercial right hand owning the numbers, driving investor and distributor outreach, and building the operational backbone of a scaling cosmetics startup. You will touch every part of the business and leave with a skillset most graduates spend years trying to acquire.

What you'll actually do:

  • Build and maintain financial models - P&L, unit economics, COGS, margin by SKU and market
  • Support the SEIS/EIS fundraising round: prepare investor materials, track outreach, and run due diligence prep
  • Research and qualify potential investors, angels, and VCs in beauty, wellness, and consumer goods
  • Conduct market analysis across target geographies US, EU
  • Build distributor and retailer longlist pipelines; prepare outreach decks and briefing docs
  • Coordinate with external labs and manufacturers on costing, MOQs, and production timelines
  • Own commercial data: sales reporting, sell-through analysis, forecasting inputs
  • Support B2B export operations — documentation, logistics coordination, compliance checks
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance tracking across EU, UK, and US markets
  • Contribute to pitch deck iterations, board-ready summaries, and investor update emails

Skills we're looking for:

  • Market research
  • Excel / Google Sheets
  • Investor relations
  • FMCG / beauty knowledge
  • Supply chain basics
  • Export / B2B ops
  • Competitive analysis

Background in business, finance, economics, or management. Experience in a startup, consultancy, or brand is a strong plus. Passion for beauty, wellness, or Asian consumer culture is genuinely valued.

What you'll get:

  • Work directly with the CEO on live decisions — fundraising, product, operations
  • Strong performers move to a full-time commercial role at the end of 3–4 months
  • Front-row seat to an international market launch — US, UK, EU
  • Build a real fundraising track record SEIS/EIS, angel rounds, pitch materials
  • Full ActiveDrip product set + early access to new launches
  • Startup equity pathway
  • For the right hire converting to full-time, equity conversation is on the table

The kind of person who thrives here:

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy figuring things out without a handbook
  • You are as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are writing a one-pager for an investor
  • You move fast, communicate clearly, and flag blockers early
  • You want to understand a business end-to-end, not just own one narrow function
  • You have an interest in the beauty, wellness, or consumer goods industry
