Responsibilities of a Year 6 teacher:
· As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
· Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child’s learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
· Keeping track of children’s progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
Year 6 Teacher requirements:
· QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
· Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment
· Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
