Wayman Education is looking for a Drama teacher to work within an Ofsted Good school in Southend On Sea. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Drama at GCSE on a full-time basis. The Drama department is particularly successful and well-resourced, additionally boasting a supportive and approachable head of department. The school is happy to receive applications from both ECTs and experienced Drama teachers.
School information: The school is easily accessible by public transport and has able students, Good Ofsted and excellent behaviour. We have worked with the school for a few years, and it is an excellent place to work both in terms of students and staff members, providing an opportunity to make a real difference.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Drama teacher to teach Drama at GCSE

- Lesson planning and effective delivery to meet the needs of all learners
- Assessment and recording of achievement

- Developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents and students, maintaining effective lines of communication
