Position Overview: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamic Science department inspiring the next generation of techsavvy individuals. The role entails fostering a love for technology and computational thinking in students equipping them with essential skills for the digital age. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4. Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity problemsolving and collaboration. Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enhance the learning experience. Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Science. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelors degree or higher in Science Information Technology or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level. Ideal Candidate Attributes: A passion for Science and its realworld applications with the ability to inspire students.
