About the Role: In this position, you will be responsible for leading and managing the year group, developing strategies to support student well-being, attendance, and academic achievement. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to create a supportive and nurturing environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the year group, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student welfare, attendance, and academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student success.
- Organize and oversee year group activities, events, and interventions to boost student engagement and experience.
Requirements:
- Degree in Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a pastoral or leadership role within a school.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and student support.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
