We are excited to invite an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will teach French, Spanish, and/or German to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach A-Level courses. You will play a pivotal role in nurturing a love for languages, enhancing students' linguistic skills, and preparing them for their future academic and professional journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and examination board standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to meet various learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and support students' overall progress and development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental initiatives and resources.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, promoting language learning beyond the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching French, Spanish, and/or German at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
