French Teacher - Peterborough – January Start

French Teacher required to start in January at an Ofsted Good School in Peterborough.

Excellent French teacher to join a highly successful and well-resourced French department on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be expected to teach French at GCSE. The French department is particularly successful and well-resourced, boasting a supportive and approachable head of department. The school welcomes applications from both ECTs and experienced French teachers.

Experience and Qualifications:

• French teacher to teach French at GCSE
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Legal ability to work within the UK

Specific Responsibilities:

• Lesson planning and effective delivery to meet the needs of all learners
• Assessment and recording of achievement
• Managing the classroom and resources effectively to create a safe, stimulating and positive learning environment for all students
• Maintaining positive discipline and promoting the well-being and progress of students, providing guidance and advice
• Developing positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and students, maintaining effective lines of communication

Salary: The salary will be paid in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS / UPS).
