We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a close-knit school community in Islington, North London, starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. This role provides an excellent chance to work in collaboration with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the school.

Nursery Teacher Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.

Nursery Teacher Requirements

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE and strong academic record.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
