We are currently seeking a brilliant Nursery Teacher to join a high-achieving school in Enfield, North London from September 2024. This is a lovely opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children and making a positive impact on their educational journey.
As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students’ social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. This role provides an excellent chance to work in collaboration with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the overall success of the school.
Nursery Teacher Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students’ social and emotional development.
- Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ achievements and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.
Nursery Teacher Requirements
- QTS, EYTS, PGCE and strong academic record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students’ learning and development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
