The school is currently looking for a passionate and energetic level 3 Nursery Nurse who ideally has experience working with SEN children, to work between the mainstream nursery and SEN room.
Educational Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (or equivalent): This could be a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator), BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning, and Development, or similar qualifications.
Practical Experience:
- Work Placement/Experience: Practical experience in a childcare setting is essential. This can often be obtained during the course of study through placements in nurseries or childcare centers.
Skills and Competencies:
- Child Development Knowledge: Understanding stages of child development and the ability to support and promote this through activities and care.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to childcare settings, including safeguarding children.
