About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Business and Economics education within our sixth form. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Feedback: Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching. Provide constructive and timely feedback to help students improve their understanding and performance.
  • Student Progress and Support: Develop positive relationships with students, fostering their confidence and motivation in Business and Economics. Identify and address individual student needs, providing targeted support and guidance.
  • Enrichment and Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to and potentially lead extracurricular activities related to Business and Economics (e.g., business competitions, guest speaker events, company visits).
  • Professional Development: Remain up-to-date with current trends and best practices in Business and Economics education. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Business and Economics teacher with a minimum of 3 years' successful teaching experience at A-Level (or equivalent) level.
