Music Teacher needed for Esteemed Secondary School in Merton. We are delighted to partner with a leading academy chain in Merton, South London, to recruit a highly qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher. This exceptional school, boasting an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating, is seeking an individual who possesses a strong passion for music education and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering inspiring and comprehensive music instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the school's rigorous curriculum and high standards.
- Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments and providing tailored feedback to support individual musical development.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the music department and across the wider school community to enrich the music program and create a vibrant musical culture.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in music education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
