About the Role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the foundation of our pupils' educational journey. You will be responsible for delivering a rich, engaging, and stimulating Early Years curriculum that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning. You’ll be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that values creativity, wellbeing, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
- Support the individual learning needs of each child through differentiated teaching and personalized learning plans.
- Encourage social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning and child-led activities.
- Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and involvement in their child’s learning journey.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a passion for working in Early Years.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Is committed to fostering a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
