The Role:

In this rewarding position, you'll play a vital role in igniting a passion for the written word and fostering a love for communication. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering engaging English lessons that spark curiosity, promote critical thinking, and foster a love for reading, writing, and communication.
• Utilizing a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, discussions, debates, drama activities (if applicable), and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Preparing students for success in relevant GCSE and A-Level English examinations (if applicable).
• Empowering students to express themselves confidently and creatively through writing, discussions, and presentations.

• Implementing effective strategies to strengthen students' reading comprehension, writing skills, and analytical thinking abilities.

We're Looking For:

• A qualified English Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• A demonstrable passion for the English language and a commitment to inspiring a love for the subject in young people.
• Excellent subject knowledge across all aspects of English, including grammar, vocabulary, literature, and creative writing.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated English lessons.
