We are seeking an exceptional and experienced Maths leader to lead our dynamic department. This is an outstanding opportunity for a strategic and visionary leader to play a pivotal role in nurturing a lifelong love of learning and fostering a deep understanding of Maths in our students.
What You'll Do:- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Maths department, ensuring alignment with the school's overall vision and mission.
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of a broad and engaging Maths curriculum across all year groups.
- Lead a team of dedicated Maths teachers, providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving skills and a passion for Maths in all students.
- Play a key role in curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with national standards and best practice.
- Contribute to the wider school community, collaborating with colleagues across different departments.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths (Leadership experience preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting, with demonstrably strong leadership qualities.

- Strong strategic vision and the ability to translate this vision into a successful departmental plan.
