About the Role This temporary position will run until July 2025 with the possibility of a permanent role from September 2025. As a Year 6 teacher you will play a key role in ensuring the childrens academic success particularly in preparation for their transition to secondary school. You will inspire curiosity encourage independent learning and foster a love of learning in your students. Key Responsibilities Deliver creative engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6 pupils. Prepare students for key assessments and their transition to secondary school. Monitor and assess students progress providing timely and constructive feedback. Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment that supports individual development. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and support school initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents keeping them informed of student progress. About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching Year 6 (or equivalent) in a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation. A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
