We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team and contribute to our thriving school community.
The Role: We are in search of a talented MFL Teacher who can inspire and engage students through high-quality language instruction. The successful candidate will be passionate about language education and dedicated to creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver stimulating MFL lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Support students in achieving their language learning objectives.
- Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the curriculum's evolution.
- Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in language teaching.
- Enhance cultural awareness within the curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
- Preferably experienced in teaching MFL at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for languages.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching more than one language.
- Ability to organize and lead extracurricular language programs.
- Experience using technology to support language learning.
