Year 3 Class Teacher (Full Time) Location: Slough Start Date: January 2025 We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join our vibrant and forwardthinking primary school located in Slough. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of Year 3 pupils. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to inspire and motivate children in their learning. Assess and monitor pupil progress providing timely feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and share good practice contributing to the schools ethos of continual improvement. Foster strong relationships with parents and carers ensuring open communication and engagement in their childs development. Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement while promoting the schools values and vision. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching at the primary level ideally within Key Stage 2. Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and assessment frameworks. Passionate about education with a creative approach to teaching and learning. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team showing initiative and a proactive attitude. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
