About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic food technology teacher to join our dynamic department within a thriving West London school. Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating food technology lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their culinary skills effectively (food preparation, hygiene, safety, recipe interpretation, healthy eating principles). Integrate the science behind food and explore global cuisines to broaden student knowledge and appreciation.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the food technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in food education (e.g., sustainable food practices, food technology innovations). Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in food technology pedagogy, implementing innovative approaches to enhance student learning (e.g., project-based learning, food challenges, guest chefs).

Provide constructive feedback and support to enable students to reach their full potential (individualized learning plans, targeted intervention strategies).
