Position Overview: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamic History department inspiring the next generation of techsavvy individuals. The role entails fostering a love for developing students equipping them with essential skills for the modern world. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and rigorous History lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4. Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity problemsolving and collaboration. Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the History department and across the school to enhance the learning experience. Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of History. Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelors degree or higher in History or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching History at the secondary level.
