Position Summary
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality Design & Technology curriculum, fostering students' problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and creative expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum, catering to diverse learning styles across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Cultivate a safe and inspiring learning environment, promoting curiosity, experimentation, and practical skills development.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Design & Technology department to maintain a high standard of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of a range of design and manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
- A passion for fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in students.
