We are working with a vibrant and fun primary school seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent KS1 teacher required from January 2025. This fantastic primary school is searching for an outstanding KS1 teacher who can start in January 2025. This is a significant position within the school, and the successful applicant will have strong communication and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to teach a fun-loving KS1 class. Only exceptional, experienced KS1 teachers will be interviewed for this full-time position.

Responsibilities of a KS1 teacher:
  • Responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
