Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school guidelines
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction to Year 1 students, promoting active participation and academic growth
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experiences
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven experience in teaching Year 1 students, including knowledge of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities to manage lesson planning, assessments, and reporting
- Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young students
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students and respond to changes in the educational environment
