We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History teacher to join a brilliant school in Barnet starting in September. Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons to students in accordance with the school curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with educational trends
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant data
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching history to primary/secondary school students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- A passion for inspiring and motivating students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
