Role 1: SENDCo

Role 2: Deputy Head/Class Teacher

Start Date: September 2024

Role Descriptions:

  • Class Teacher/Deputy Head (Part-Time, Class-Based)

Inspire and engage young learners with innovative teaching methods. Provide strong leadership and support to fellow educators. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with the Head Teacher to implement school policies and initiatives.

  • SENDCo

Lead and manage the provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective support strategies. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Promote a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all students.

  • Combined Role: Class Teacher/Deputy Head and SENDCo

Integrate the responsibilities of both roles, providing comprehensive leadership and support. Balance classroom teaching with SENDCo duties, ensuring a seamless, inclusive learning experience for all students.
