This role is vital to the smooth running of a vibrant and well-resourced DT department. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff to maintain workshop facilities, manage machinery, and support students in practical Design Technology, Product Design, and Engineering lessons. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare timber, metals, plastics, and tools required for Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level practical sessions. * Maintain, service, and ensure the safe operation of workshop machinery (e.g., band saws, sanders, pillar drills, 3D printers, and laser cutters). * Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards (DATA guidelines) across all workshops and prep rooms. * Support teachers and students during practical lessons, demonstrating tool usage and offering technical guidance. * Manage department stock levels, conduct annual inventory checks, and place orders for materials and consumables.
