We are partnering with an Outstanding mixed school in Islington that is looking for a fantastic permanent, full-time PSHE Citizenship Teacher to join their dedicated team this September. This is a wonderful opportunity to foster social awareness, critical thinking, and healthy personal development in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with exciting potential for Key Stage 5. What you\’ll be doing: * You\’ll be designing and delivering dynamic PSHE and Citizenship lessons, covering topics such as health and wellbeing, relationships, personal finance, democracy, and global issues. * It\’s about creating a safe and inclusive environment for open discussion, encouraging empathy, and empowering students to make informed decisions. * You\’ll contribute to the school\’s pastoral care, potentially leading form tutor sessions or supporting student wellbeing initiatives. What we\’re looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of PSHE and Citizenship curriculum. * Experience teaching engaging and effective PSHE / Citizenship lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable. * A deep and current understanding of relevant social and political issues, plus the ability to facilitate sensitive discussions. * Excellent communication and listening skills, strong classroom management, and a genuine passion for holistic student development.
