Are you ambitious, a team‑player and driven to deliver a first‑class service to our customers? Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group, with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales. We are looking for an experienced Technician to work alongside our existing dedicated team at our Volvo dealership in Reading.

The successful candidate will be time served and hold NVQ or equivalent qualifications to Level 3.

What’s the role?

Although this is predominantly not a diagnostic role, you must be able to use current diagnostic equipment, have a proven track record in delivering “right first time” work and have good communication skills. In this role you will work towards productivity and efficiency targets and repair and service customer vehicles. Main dealer experience would be preferred; however full training will be given. A full driving licence is essential.

What Do You Get in Return?

  • Mon‑Fri 8:30am‑5pm and 8:30‑12:30 Saturday an average of every 1 in 4 Saturdays (45 hours).
  • OTE of up to £53,200.00.
  • 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays).
