Waylands Volvo, Gloucester is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to join the Volvo apprenticeship programme at our dealership in Gloucester. The Parts Department is a key part of our business and plays a vital role in helping our Sales and Service departments support our customers and build their loyalty to both Waylands and the Volvo brand.

Duties:

  • Taking orders from customers both face to face and over the phone
  • Maintaining an ordered stock room and finding parts from stock
  • Raising invoices
  • Liaison with other members of staff
  • Customers may include members of the public, service departments of dealerships, and garages
  • Advise on accessories and modifications
  • Warranty claims and returns

Training Provided:

Training will be delivered using a combination of on-the-job training, remote learning and block release classroom training at the Volvo approved college. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification (IMI level 2 and 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Competence, Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles) and become IMI accredited as a Parts Advisor. As a Volvo Parts Advisor you are responsible for ordering, selling and managing stock control on vehicle parts.

Our ideal candidate will be a practical person with a desire to learn, enjoys being part of a team and who is committed to completing this two-year training programme.

  • Standard apprenticeship wage between £8-£12.71 subject to age
