Do you excel at customer service? If so, you could be just who we, at Waylands Automotive, are looking for! We’re currently looking for a Service Advisor for our Volvo dealership at Bristol. Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley, the M4 corridor, and South Wales. This role acts as the liaison between customers and service technicians and is the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers and listening to their requests.
  • Scheduling appointments and estimating costs.
  • Conducting inspections.
  • Communicating with customers regarding their vehicle needs.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure repeat and return business.
  • Using online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups using our in-hours and manufacturer systems and processes.
  • Keeping customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop.
  • Liaising with technician colleagues about vehicle statuses and ensuring vehicles are ready for customers on time.

About You:

  • You’ll be an active listener and excellent communicator.
  • You’ll adopt a positive attitude with all customers.
  • You’ll take ownership of the role and make it your own.
  • You’ll find job satisfaction from providing an outstanding service to our customers.
  • You’ll be comfortable working to deadlines.
  • You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
  • If you have Service Advisor experience, that’s great, but we are happy to train anyone with some experience in customer service.

Salary, Hours And Benefits:

  • 8:00am-18:00pm Mon‑Fri, Saturday 8:00am-13:00pm on a rota basis.
  • Basic salary of £30k plus department bonus scheme.
  • 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays, some of which you will be required to cover).
